That Photographs return first is a little “touristy.” researchers aren’t that interested in photos. Wants manuscript materials first. Literary history should be prioritized in search and browse. Doesn’t know how that happened. Didn’t always know what to expect, or how to get where I want to go. Not always sure what each click will accomplish. Fun -> pretty. Books titles aren’t subject headings. Confusing. Wants more browse points visible on the homepage. Doesn’t know what “all browse points” means. From the digital collection how do I get back to the website homepage? Once you dive into the digital collection from the webpage, no way to search within the subcollections. Note cards, for example. “I don’t want to skim through 644 individual items. I want to use a search tool to narrow down the items. If you’ve divided all this material by genre, there should be a way to search within each genre. Site makes you think you can do that, so it’s a little misleading.
