METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: 

Two surveys were created to evaluate the library-vendor relationship, one intended for library professionals and the other intended for vendor professionals. Both surveys were vetted by professionals in the field for relevancy, accuracy, and soundness of questions. The surveys were sent to five email lists including Coll-Lib, ERIL-L, LibLicense-L, ScholComm, and SERIALST.

Describe any quality-assurance procedures performed on the data:
The surveys were intended for participants from the United States. In cases where respondents outside of the USA participated, we filtered these responses out of the final data set.
