My thesis statement is a verbal confirmation of my hope for a better, more humane architecture. It reads as follows: Industrially produced materials, as they are presently being used, deprive the human senses and spirit of the variety of experience so necessary for man's existence. I believe that the qualities inherent in these materials can be used to provide a richness, a purity, and a vitality that will replenish our sensory enthusiasm.en
