dc.description.abstractThis project implemented science notebooks into science teaching. Students respond in their notebooks by writing and/or drawing after each treatment lesson. Notebooks were used to reinforce concepts and to increase student achievement. The use of science notebooks increased achievement for some students, but more importantly, became a favorite science activity for most.en
