The feasibility of implementing a professional development internship program for business and office education and distributive and marketing education majors at the post-baccalaureate level within the Montana State University School of Business

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the (1) feasibility (2) policies and (3) procedures/methods for the possible implementation of a post-baccalaureate professional development internship program at the Montana State University School of Business , Bozeman, Montana, for coop teachers in the areas of business and office education and distributive and marketing education. Primary components considered were: (1) Feasibility for the implementation of a professional development internship program for post-baccalaureate students within the School of Business at Montana State University who are coop teachers in the areas of business and office education and distributive and marketing education. (2) Policies which would be utilized within the internship program should it be Implemented. (3) Procedures/methods which would be considered in the development and implementation of a professional development internship program within the School of Business at Montana State University.
