My work can most easily be referred to as a kind of specialized surrealism, it enables me to express my Interest In fantasy and invention and to present an unique perspective on the world. As opposed to the obvious connection between the kind of work I do and the existentialist position many artists' seem to value, I feel that my work is quite available to the public. Rather than calling for a referral to literal interpretation or any specific imagined phenomena, it can be understood at many levels in terms of associations of ideas, sensations, etc. It is necessary that I have the freedom to express myself and is important that my public derive value, depending on individual levels of perception, from the work I do.en
