Item Concussion education practices among high school coaches in Montana(Montana State University - Bozeman, College of Education, Health & Human Development, 2021) Hughes, Patrick Michael; Chairperson, Graduate Committee: Tricia SeifertConcussions in high school sports present a legitimate threat to athletes across the United States. In the absence of qualified healthcare providers, coaches are most often the individuals who are tasked with making sideline analyses of removing the injured athlete from participation. To help ensure the most optimal outcomes for these athletes, it is important to accurately determine the most effective ways of training coaches. This study analyzed high school coaches in the state of Montana to determine their familiarity with different types of concussion education programs. In addition, particular focus was placed on determining if coaches' familiarity of concussion education programs differed significantly between coaches in urban versus rural school settings and between coaches of different sports.Item A survey of head coaches in major sports of selected high schools in the state of Montana(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1969) Gerke, Harold D.Item The effects of selected coaching techniques on the standing long jump performance of children(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1970) Oberly, David EugeneItem Values in basic training rules for the athlete and the athletic program(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1961) Kober, Alvin C.Item An electromyographical analysis of sprint starting from variable width blocks(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1970) Humphrey, Nyles RayItem Small group dynamics and their application to coaching basketball(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1968) Matson, Andrew A.Item Factors influencing salaries of intercollegiate athletic head men's and women's basketball coaches as perceived by NCAA Division I athletic directors(Montana State University - Bozeman, College of Education, Health & Human Development, 1997) Sweet, LaWana LynnItem Selected Nebraska high school football players and coaches : a value study(Montana State University - Bozeman, College of Education, Health & Human Development, 1974) Holst, Donald LeeItem Selected funding variables of athletic departments in the Big Sky Conference and their relation to attendance, winning, athletes' academic success, NCAA violations, and coaching staff turnover(Montana State University - Bozeman, College of Education, Health & Human Development, 1995) Raunig, Thomas Allen
