Within Southwestern Montana, 18 wetland area sites were chosen and assessed by all six tools currently used by the state of Montana for evaluating ecological health, and by the New LDI criteria. Because the sample is non-random, implications of this report cannot be extended beyond the sample to the larger area of Southwestern Montana or the state of Montana.
