The problem explored in this project was the dilemma facing individuals who are considering or presently engaged in pursuing a master of science degree in business education. Namely, whether or not such an endeavor will enhance the possibilities of employment as a teacher in Montana schools or prove to be a deterrent to such employment. The goals of this study were: To pinpoint the employment possibilities in Montana educational institutions for those who have successfully completed a master's degree program in business education. To discover the number of vacancies that could be predicted in the next few years with any degree of accuracy. To discover the vacancies which would be filled and the qualifications which would be necessary for successful candidates.en
