To evaluate soft white winter wheat lines for adaptability, agronomic performance, yield, and quality in Central Montana. A mild winter followed by above average precipitation in April and drought May through July period with above average temperatures generally favored early maturing varieties. Yield levels were near long term averages. However, test weights were much below average and protein levels were above average.en_US
