Item Diorama construction simplified(Montana State College, Division of Education, 1960) Simmons, Hugh G.The decade preceding the 1960's was an age when the interests of students' and adults' were many and varied. Because of this diversification of interests, ideas to be presented had to be short, to the point, and interesting for effective communication. Each year history was being made, studied, and forgotten by students trying to keep up with the fast-changing pace of events. It was the opinion of the writer that there was a way in which important events could be recorded which would enable students not only to understand an event, but to gain an understanding of the forces or actions which led up to the event. It was the writer's contention that the preparation for and the construction of a diorama, a three dimensional scene incorporating three-dimensional objects with backgrounds in perspective, could stimulate and vitalize history courses at the high school level. The purpose of this investigation was three-fold: to construct a diorama, to produce a slide film set and guide, and to record the various steps in the construction of the diorama.Item Comparison of videotaped instruction in dissection laboratories with the traditional lecture/demonstration method(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1979) Thronson, Roderick Morris; Chairperson, Graduate Committee: Henry Negley WorrestItem Furniture refinishing(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1978) Svalstad, Jane Campbell; Chairperson, Graduate Committee: John W. KohlThis project dealt with the problem of developing a teaching tool for use in conducting furniture refinishing workshops. The author produced a package program which includes a lesson plan, a slide-tape series showing detailed steps in refinishing furniture, a set of samples showing various finishes on several types of wood, posters and hand-out materials. In the process of producing the package program, a detailed plan of the development of a slide-tape presentation has been included. The slide series covers the following categories of furniture refinishing and repair: inspection of the article, removal of the old finish, removal of stains, replacement of broken parts, repair of veneers, raising of dents, filling of cracks, sanding, and the application of the new finish.Item A compilation of recent teaching aids used for enrichment in the teaching of typewriting(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1957) Robertson, JeanItem Fun with fondue : an audio-visual presentation for secondary school use(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1978) Nelson, Kay Dell ClarkItem An audio-visual introduction to girls' gymnastics judging(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1975) Mends, Catherine Jane DiFulcoItem A videotape for counselor skills training : critical incidents and model responses(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1978) Bruno, Peter JacksonItem Standards for an audio-visual education department for the Bozeman city schools(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1958) Blockey, Ernest AlfredItem Proposals for modification of the audio-lingual method of teaching foreign languages(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1972) Barnes, Barbara Lynn PettineItem The development of a videotape to aid in the improvement of instruction of teachers through inservice training and supervision(Montana State University - Bozeman, 1977) Baker, Curtis Lee
